Hi Guys,
My newly bought laptop Asus X450LC can't connect to wi-fi while my other laptops can connect even 2 rooms far and at ground floor. I can connect when im near in the router. Is this normal or my wifi lan card is weak/damaged or conflict when i update to windows 8.1?

I also updated/reinstall the driver of wifi lan card nothing happens still the same

This isn't normal. Try upping your router to a 5ghz banding, that should provide you with a quicker, stronger connection and less interference from neighbors (the likelihood is they won't be on your banding, let alone your channel).
