I think my processor is overheating

Hello

My specs are as followed;
-Athlon II x4 750k
-Sapphire R9 270 2gb
-Corsair vengeance 2x4gb dual channel 8gb kit
-500w corsair bronze
-1TB WCD Hard drive
-Windows 7 Ultimate

I use pitform speccy and i have seen my cpu go as high as 80oc while my gpu has never gone that high ever.
I only got it a 2 month ago when i built the whole pc. The cooler had lots of the paste on it and my dad said i installed it correctly as my dad looked over the whole pc as he has built many pcs and he said everything was fine.

When i'm web searching the cpu is like 60oc but when i play Titanfall or Skyrim its like a scary 70oc or even 80oc once.
Can i manually set when the fan should cool more or should i buy a new cooler. Which would be rather annoying as i am low on funds right now.

I don't want my cpu to die..

Thanks

I just phone my local independent computer store called Knights computer and he told me to check the cpu temp in my BIOS and it was 43-46oc. He said i shouldn't trust speccy for fan speeds.
The only thing i will say is that my desktop is quite loud under heavy load such as Titanfall as my frames drop to 40 sometimes in like 3vs3 titan fights, i'm not saying like fans on 100% kind of loud, just audible. But i would like to get a better cooler sometime.
I loaded up speccy just now and it said my cpu was 70oc. That can't be right, my pc would be so slow and at 80 it would shut down.
