put windows 7 on a hp ml310g3?

not sure if i can add win7 to this computer or another windows based os. i do not work with servers so i have very limited knowledge of them. i can get to the install part of the os cd but it says that the hard drive needs to be in the boot controller. i have it as a slave drive.

Do you have more than one drive? Does your motherboard have a sas controller? Is it SATA or PATA?

I have never tried to load windows 7 on a server like that. Here is a link to a thread where you might get some info. Just keep googling server with windows 7 and things like that, you will eventually find the information you are looking for. Good luck.
