Getting a local PC shop to build my rig, do comment/recomend me on my parts

Hey guys, its my first time building a gaming PC with the help of a local shop. Wonder if u guys could help me decide and recommend on the right stuff to purchase? I'm targeting high FPS and a computer that that can run future games for at least 5 years.

My current picks are:
ASUS Maximus VII Ranger
i5 4690K/ i7 4790K
Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz CL9 8gb
Samsung EVO 250gGB
WD 2TB Black 64mb
Sapphire R9 290 TRI-X 4GB DDR5
FSP Aurum 650W 92+ Platinum PSU
NZXT H440 Case (Recommendation?)
Cooler Master Hyper 212X Pwm Cooler/Xigmatek Dark knight CPU cooler
Artic Silver 5
ASUS 24 Inch VG248 (Im looking for a midrange monitor that can run at 120Hz, recommend me something not too expensive)

What else did i miss out? Are more fans required for this rig?

You can't be sure that the computer will last you for 5 years, there is no such thing as a future-proof rig. You simply don't know what games will require by then.

As for your build, I suggest you go with the i5, it will be enough for gaming. Good motherboard choice ^^. Go with caviar blue, or a seagate barracuda drive (cheaper and my hard drive of choice). Good version of the R9 290. No need to go for a platinum PSU for low power consumption like that, but that is a good PSU according to the reviews I've read. The H440 is an amazing looking case, getting that case myself. I would personally go for the xigmatek as it is better looking, but you should be fine with both coolers. And you probably won't need thermal paste as the one that...

Ytyou i disagree, if you wishes to have a computer that will last long, then an i7 is obviously better than a i5, his pc WILL run games ultra for now and maybe in 5 years in high. Unless there is gonna be some mlg pro 360 nos ope skillz 420 blaze it game that requires a gtx 860 ti boost 10gb and also requires a intel core i14 7.1 ghz 18 core cpu extreme edition.

So you're saying that hyperthreading will definitely give you more performance in the future? And that in the future games will run on high with an r9 290? I'm sorry but I broke my crystal ball yesterday, and I can't check to see if you are right.

Nobody can tell what the future holds. At the rate newer games are starting to use more vram you could have PC games requiring 3-4GB vram on a card to run optimally. The ''future'' is a subjective term and its dependent upon if you're happy with the performance or not. Nobody can tell you otherwise.
