so i,ve recently ordered new internet connection at speed 240mb/s i,ve got it with new modem but there is problem i,ve tested it on speedtest and it was only 80mb/s also when i looked at my network details i saw only 100mb/s so i went to configuration and configured jumbo frames to 9KB MTU and Speed and duplex to 1GB/s full duplex but im still not getting 100mb/s and its still not showing on network details its still 100mb/s and its really weird because i remember that on my network i had 1GB/S also when i installed hamachi to check the problem it was also 100mb/s so im guessing it may be a driver problem so i reainstalled my network driver and updatred it and still 100mb/s i don,t know what to do thanks for help. also my motherboard is Gigabyte Z87-HD3 with realtek 1GB/S network card

Make sure to set your computer adapter settings to AUTO speed. and not force 1000Mbit. Ok besides that have you tried a different ethernet cable? It is possible for a damaged cable to run 100Mbit but not 1000Mbit as it only uses 2 pair of the twisted cable for 100Mbit but uses all 4 pair for 1000Mbit. If replacing the cable does not work, have you tried plugging into a different port on your router? If all of this fails it may be a driver issue with your computer network card. What make/model is your computer NIC?
