Hi all.
Recently I have built my 'gaming' PC and all I require to complete the build is a new GPU.

Current Specs:

CPU : Intel Pentium G2030 3.0Ghz Dual Core
GPU : GeForce GT 240 1GB
RAM : 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
MOBO : Asrock H61M microATX
HDD : 1TB 7200rpm WD
OS : Windows 8.1 64bit
Screen : 1280x1024

I am looking at either the Radeon R7 260x or the nVidia GTX 750ti
The problem is my PSU does not have a 6 pin connection for the R7 260x

My budget is around R2000 ($200) but you cannot compare Rands to Dollars as here GPU's are quite expensive.

I can either save money and get the R7 260x and buy a 500 80+ Corsair PSU or get the GTX 750ti.

If there is a better option from the website I have provided please let me know! I would be keen to play Battlefield 4, Witcher 2, Skyrim, Assassins Creed IV all on High settings if possible with my budget.

The only reason I would get a R7 260x would be primarily because of the CrossFire capability whereas the versions of GTX 750ti's I can get hold of, Do not have SLI.

Many thanks.

Solution
Go with the 2GB! Textures in games amongst other things chew up as much VRAM as you can throw at them.
Enjoy your new card! :D
Let me know how it goes.
Any more questions?

One more question sorry mate! :D

Theres a 2GB and 1GB version. While that makes no difference to me cost wise. What benefits are there of getting the 2GB version over a 1GB version?
