System not booting - only green light on motherboard.

I have an 6 yr old Asus m3n-hd/hdmi motherboard. This morning it is no longer booting up. The system has an antec case with a 650W antec power supply. I have pulled everything out of the case except the motherboard and power supply. Now with the 24-pin ATX connector attached to the motherboard at least the CPU fan spins. If I also attach the 4 pin ATX connector I am back to only a green light (no CPU fan).

How can I tell if my problem is the power supply, motherboard or cpu ?

Can I ignore the 4 pin connector ?

THanks

Make sure that al the necessary cables are were they need to be and plugged in and try and boot again.

Hope this helps :)
