The Corsair should come with thermal compound.

Yes you definatly need thermal paste under no circumstances should you install any cooler without thermal paste unless it comes pre applied and i dont believe it does on the h100i.

The Corsair H80i cooler comes with thermal paste that works just fine. If you were going to replace it I would use a paste better than Arctic Silver 5. There have been better pastes out there for quite some time. You will see that in this test the Corsair paste and Arctic Silver 5 are within .4 degrees of each other when used with a closed-loop liquid cooler like the H80i. I would just stick with the pre-applied Corsair paste.

So do i really need one? Will it change? In case that yes, there are others that are much better than Artic Silver, which one could you recommend me? In case its needed.
Thanks for your help

Regardless of the paste you choose it's going to be within 2C so it doesn't matter unless you are an extreme overclocker. Arctic silver is fine if you NEED to buy something, but don't buy it just for the sake of it. If you want something better, look at the review he posted, decide on your mounting method and see what's available in stores.

No, you don't need to replace the pre-installed thermal paste. In the future if you need thermal paste GELID Solutions GC-Extreme has become my new favorite paste. It is toward the top of the chart I linked to above.
