I'm 14, and I built my first PC back in March-April, and ever since I've been having an issue with it. About 2-5 minutes after boot-up, it freezes. It doesn't happen in Safe Mode, and it's been happening during the Windows 7 installation. I uninstalled windows (thinking that that was the issue), and for a week I have been trying to reinstall it but it freezes anywhere from 0-97% complete. When it freezes I have to do a hard reboot, and start all over again. It's very frustrating, I'm not sure if it's a problem on my part, or if it's the hardware that is failing. I've asked on other forums and have heard many different things, I've heard it was the PSU not having enough wattage (I'll post specs below), I've heard it was overheating, and also that it was my HDD failing. I've replaced the RAM and my mobo so those aren't the issue, I'm using the stock heatsink right now, but when the issue first arose I was using an an aftermarket heatsink, the Hyper 212 EVO.
My mom was going to take it to a PC repair shop this weekend, but if it's just a heat issue I think I could resolve that myself, I just want some final opinions on it.

My specs:
CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX760 DirectCU II OC
Mobo: ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2x4gb)
PSU: Seasonic 550w Modular
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite (if it matters)

I'm not sure about load temps for the CPU, or temps period for the GPU. Idle CPU temps are around 35-37C, I did run Memtest and Windows Diagnostic Tool, neither of them came back with any problems. Sorry for the lack of info, I'd go into Safe Mode if I had Windows installed. I also forgot to mention that I installed Linux onto a flash drive and Linux froze as well.
