Raid 10 later?

I was wondering about setting up a raid array. I am going to start by computer build with 1 SSD, because I do not want to spend any more money. However I want to set up RAID10 with 4 SSDs later (all the same size). If I buy those 4 drives later and set up raid 10 to it, can I transfer all my data from the first drive to the RAID 10 array, or would I lose any data?

Solution
If you wanted to have the raid 10 be bootable then you would need to do a fresh install of the OS & everything. Data can be copied from the old SSD.
Important data should always be backed up, even when using raids. Raids do not protect you from voltage spikes, blackouts, user error, pranksters, accidents (opps did I just delete all my programs?), viruses...
