My computer keeps crashing every so often. The time difference between my last crash to the previous was probably about a month or two. Its very rare it happens but it still happens and i'm afraid it's breaking my computer. The last time it crashed I was closing a modded Minecraft pack, I don't really remember what I was doing in previous crashes but it seems to be completely random because one other time I was just watching a video when my computer crashed. When it crashes its not a full on crash where it blue or black screens, it freezes and makes a buzzing or static noise in my speakers or headset, which ever one I have on. So then I have to hit the restart button on my tower to get it to restart. When it boots up it goes into that bios page where it asks me if i want to start normally or go into the 3 different safe modes. I just click start normally because I have no idea what to do in safe mode. I'm pretty sure I have up to date drivers on everything, I know I have the latest driver for my GPU because Raptr does that for me and its associated with AMD and Windows 7 because, well you know. As for the other parts I don't know.

My computer specs are:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
CPU: Intel 15-2400 3.1GHz
RAM: 8Gb
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
MB: MSI MS-7732

Other than this info I just provided I don't know what other info you need. So just tell me what info you need and i'll do my best to provide it. I have been looking everywhere to find a solution but never found one. Please help! Thanks in advanced.

Ok so my computer hasn't crashed in a while. That could be because im not on it as much as i have been before. But i was looking around on information about power supplies and I saw someone talking about this powers supply need calculator. http://images10.newegg.com/BizIntell/tool/psucalc/index.html?name=Power-Supply-Wattage-Calculator

Here is what I put in.
Intel core 15 (lga1155)
Regular - Desktop Motherboard
AMD Radeon HD 6850
4GB DDR3 x 2
DVD-ROM
7200RPM 3.5" HDD x 4

I used this and guessed at some of the stuff (Optical Drive and Hard Drives) but for the most part it said i needed 430 watts. Well my power supply is only 430 watts. I do have an older power supply that is 550 watts. It is from an old computer my brother made like 5+ years ago. So idk if its worth swapping it out for that one. What do you think?
