I have just bought a GTX 780 Ti GPU, i have a 19'' Monitor with a Resolution of 1440x900
Before i bought this GPU i had had a 9400 GT GPU and i was playing on 1440x900 Resolution
But after buying this GPU i can't find 1440x900 anymore and when i made a custom Resolution from Nvidia Control Panel it didn't fit my monitor as it usually did and looked very strange

My monitor is really great with amazing colours that i have never seen a 1080p monitor that has the same amazing colours (i saw a lot of my friends' 1080p monitors and also saw some on YouTube)
Anyway, i'm going to buy a new one in few months but i wanna play on 1440x900 until i buy it
I just wanna know whether GTX 780 Ti supports 1440x900 Resolution or not

Thanks

16:9 ratio 900p should be 1600x900.

Also windows should show your native resolution as the recommended one

I'm not sure the cause of the issue (sounds like a driver problem to me), but I'd try to return the GTX 780 Ti and get something *way* less expensive for 1440x900 gaming. Even a $200 Radeon R9 270X is probably overkill for that resolution. You have vastly overspent.

I wouldn't be surprised if the GTX 780 Ti could get you to 60 FPS in many titles at 1440x900 without even leaving its low-power state.

Geez lots of trolls. I used 1440x900 for a while and it wasn't terrible. That GPU is overkill but so be it.
Are you connected by DVI? You shouldn't use VGA if you can avoid it

My mistake, I see it now.

I would try a clean re-install of your Nvidia driver, or possibly a rollback. There's not much reason why 1440x900 wouldn't be supported on the GTX 780 Ti.

Are you using the driver that came on the CD with your 780 Ti, or did you download the latest version from Nvidia?

i'm connected by a VGA, will it be a problem ? will it harm the GPU ?

i have the latest version from Nvidia and even before i downloaded it i installed the diver from the CD which came with the GPU and it hadn't worked..

It will not harm the GPU but you will suffer loss of picture quality and problems with getting the image
to fit on screen are not uncommon. If your monitor does not have DVI I suggest you upgrade sooner rather than later.

Once I switched to digital I never looked back
