Im a newbie when it comes to command prompts. After just reformatting I need to run a command prompt for my intel adapter ... The path is

C:\Users\Adam\Desktop\82579VSKU(1)\Win64e

Thats where the file is . And the .exe file is written as 82579VSKUW64e.exe

So when I open command prompt as administrator and use the cd\ back code I see

C:\>

How should I continue the path to execute this file please ... Can somebody write it for me and continue it .thank you

Solution
goto the motherboard makers support site and download the latest to a flash drive and load it... OR, if you know the exact chipset, get it from Intel directly

Thats interesting . Ok ive done it and it seems to have worked by right clicking and running as administrator directly from the file itself . A prompt appeared then vanished after 4 or 5 seconds...thing is the network card driver still isn't installing. Its from the motherboard disk damn why. It keeps saying : No intel (R) adapters are present on this computer .

But these are the drivers on the motherboard disk which has come with the motherboard ... The computer has just been reformatted . There was nothing wrong with the network card prior to formatting . Bump im lost :(

I also tried installing the driver for the network card prior to the suggested fix with command prompt with no resolution :(
