So, guys, I am suspecting that my psu might be broken. Firstly I noticed that when turning of my computer the psu makes a "clicking" like one click then it shuts down (haven't had that before). Also, I was playing Dark souls 2 just now and skyrim before and I checked the fan in the psu to see if it was spinning and it wasn't. No fram drops or anything of that kind, the fan just wasnt spinning. However while I was playing bf4 an hour or so ago the fan did start spinning after about a minute of playing, and it stopped spinning after I stopped playing. I know of idle mode and the fan not spinning then, but I am still a bit worried and I'd like your opinions. Id be happy to answer any questions you have (if I can).

these psu are designed to turn off the fans on low load. just how they're designed. for noise purposes.

Something is triggering one of the protection circuits.
You're right about the fan

I misread your post. I thought you were saying your psu shutsdown after hearing a click sound. Your situation is a new one to me. Only way to diagnose a failing PSU is with at least an oscilloscope. I would view it as a warning sign and hope my manufactures warranty isn't expired.

A low click can be normal on shutdown.

Good to hear, though it clicks randomly when the computer is on as well, very rarely. Not sure if it might associated with the PSU fan, not sure..
