So, I have built my new system, and decided to overclock the GPU, and well, I started to get these texture things (See in a second) and i restarted twice with the OC off, and well, they still happen. I am lead to believe it is the game...

The last one is the most weird.

I also get shadows that are at a decent distance that flicker in and out when i move. I have only noticed all these problems in this game, Not in any other game what so ever, I built this computer so i could at least play the darn game, and this does not help...:kaola:

What could be the problem here?

Uhh, yeah it's a graphics card issue. Well it's a issue between your graphics card and watch dogs, so they're both at fault.

You can try playing with the drivers, (using older, preferably newest) you can try doing a reformat and reinstall of the system, but it's really hard to pinpoint why these things happen.

Sometimes it seems like it's just your save game that gets corrupted, and you have to make a new one to fix those kind of things, I know they'd sometimes happen in skyrim and no matter what I did I couldn't get the broken graphics to go away, but a new game didnt have them.

Okay, so, i could potentially just create a new game and it hopefully would be fixed? I dont feel like reinstalling windows 8.1 all over again, but, If i have to, it better fix it, This shouldn't be a clue that the GPU is faulty correct? its only 2 days old...

So, The issue is not fixed, But, Heres a thing, It did not start happening till i believe when i switched monitors from a TV, so maybe i corrupted the game somehow? When i first started playing the game, This never happened, then i overclocked, and didn't try it till a while ago on my TV (Which is what i installed Windows on) and then switched to this monitor, and the game has been acting funky (weird Aspect ratio's, crashes, THIS)

DO you think this has something to do with it? going from HDMI to DVI or something? (or 1080p to 1280x1024?)

Okay, so i reinstalled the drivers for my GPU, and the texture pop-ups arent happening, But, I am still having the flickering Shadows, which, when looked in one direction, appear, but look a little bit differently, they dissapear.... Also, What about this weird aspect ratio thingy? i noticed it happens on the loading screen for Windows 8 (where the screen is squished horizontally, maybe due to it using a 16:10 aspect ratio? although its set for 4:3) This computer is giving me nothing but troubles, i guess i should've stayed with windows 7....

EDIT: Fixed aspect ratios in game, it turns out it was using 1080p and 1280x1024 at the same time, confusing it out... hmf... Now i gotta work on the shading problems....

Okay, so, The damn game is still not fixed, I cant be turned to be the GPU, beacuse the textures arent stretched or anything, could it be a Driver problem? or would my GPU be just screwed and i need a new one?

[strike]OKAY! I figured the problem, My gpu is on the fritz, It only happens in this game for some stupid reason, but, i tried with my old GT 620, slapped it into that computer, with the same graphical settings (DAMN THAT 2FPS) and I did not get any glitches what so ever, so, Im gonna go back to get a replacement as i have a Memoryexpress IPR.

Thanks for all the help guys![/strike]
