Desktop Icon Won't Recylce

I got 3D Mark on steam but before i bought it i downloaded the demo. I have a demo icon and the normal full version icon. I can't recycle the demo one because it says it can't find it in the desktop folder. I've tried moving it to the folder from the desktop but the source and destination file is the same. How to i get rid of it?

Restart your PC, it'll probably disappear.

Restarts usually result in stubborn icons disappearing. Very rude of him to say that to someone who is putting their own time into helping others. Good on you man.
