I'm looking for a gpu cooler that fits my gpu... anyone know a good recommendation? it best if its £40 or below but put a higher price if you need or want to.. Thanks in advance!

Zalman Z11 Case
Gigabyte 990XA - UD3 Mobo
2x4 Corsair Vengeance RAM
Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 1tb HDD
2x120GB Kingston SSD
Gigabyte Radeon 7870 GPU
AMD FX 6300 CPU
2 Monitors 1x HDMI 1x DVI

Solution

Hard to say for sure, but it could be more due to the power draw of the system, and the PSU being junk...
There's little to be gained by cooling a reference or factory GPU other than reduced noise. My SLI'd pair run at 39C under water.... my son's SLI's pair run at same OC on air but at 82C. That all doesn't apply if you bypassing the voltage limits or voltage modding a card.

What PSU do you have? That temp isnt overheating.

That could be your problem. That PSU is complete junk.

65'c is very cool for a GPU. Most get to around 70-80'c in games. Some AMD cards its perfectly normal to hit 95'c in games.

Solution
It's not just the GPU that gets hot when the system is loaded, all the other parts warm up a well, including the PSU.
Cheap units can quite quickly loose their output, or start to produce 'dirty' power when loaded so RobCrezz may have a point.
Even though the unit is a long way from its rated output it's not uncommon for cheap PSUs to only provide a fraction of their rated output, or they may be given a 'max' rating, rather than a more realistic 'continuious' rating.
Also check the CPU load temperature, it may be overheating and causing the shutdowns.
As for cooler, if your system case has 2.5-3 clear PCI-E slots below the graphics card the Gelid Icy Vision is dead cheap and massively effective, just be sure to order the FanMate controller they suggest: http://www.quietpc.com/gel-icy-vision-amd
