I have pc Acer power M8 , mobo : EM61PM
In past i had amd athalon 64 3500+ single core processor
it was slow but running fine , then i installed amd athalon x2 64 4400+ dual core processor , also updated the bios to R01-C0 , at first week it worked fine no heat up issue , but for the last 2 to 3 days whenever i turn my pc on it automattically shuts down without any warning , after that i installed amd athalon 64 3500+ single core old processor and its working fine .... :(
what could be the possible error of for the new dual core processor?? plz help
sorry for bad English & bye t.c thankx in advance

Probally the PSU not supplying enough power. How many wats does your PSU provide? Also what GPU are you using or are you just using a built in GPU

I am using normal Stock P.S.U ....... and also using the internal vga nvidia 405 (may be) & the dual core processor work's fine for about 5 min's after that sometimes the pc hangs or displays full lining

Well I don't know how much power your stock PSU provides but it looks like your computer is an OEM PC. That basically means that is was designed to work with the stock parts and trying to figure out what the BIOS will support and what it won't is going to be very difficult. It could just be that the CPU you put in is not very compatible with the computer... You might have to contact the company to see if it is or not though
