Hello my name's Tmr, I just made an account for tom's hardware.

My friends was really into PC gaming so I decided to give it a try until I found out my graphics card wasn't that good. So I decided to upgrade but I have no idea what graphics card I should get! I have a Lenovo H420 with a 280 watts power supply. I want to run current gen games on medium settings on at least 30 fps as a minimum.

Here's some info about my computer: LenovoH420

My question is, what's the best graphics card can my H420 handle? Also if you can find a cheap graphics card around 50-80$ that would be great.

Other info: I only use one monitor the can go up to 1366 x 768 screen resolution, and runs at 60 hertz.

Hello Tmr, welcome.

The best gpu I can think of that will run ok with a 280w psu is a radeon 4350 or lower end gpu's. You need to upgrade your psu before gaming because 280w will not be able to run a gpu that's able to run actual gen games even on low settings and that resolution.
And if you decide to get a new psu, you should at least a 450w one, then you should get a gt740 or r7 250, depends on how much money you'll have to spend on your computer.
Maybe you could get a 9500gt but it's a low end and old gpu, cheap but old

Thank you so much for helping me out uninsta but I decided to just stick with my Xbox. All of this info is making my dizzy. I decided I'll just play next gen games on the console, and play popular low end games on PC. (CS GO, TF2, Garrys Mod, etc.)

A 750ti would work great in your computer, you may want to stick to reference with your PSU.

PS: I avoided updating my PSU for a while and it was so easy when I finally did it. Just take a few pictures before you unhook everything and replace the connections, nothing to it!

No problem buddy, glad I helped. Staying with your Xbox is a good idea, consoles make gaming easier but with much more limits than a pc.
Best of luck with your Xbox!
