So starting about a week ago I have been having problems with my computer. Every few days usually when I am listening to music or playing a game, my computer would crash or reboot itself. I have scanned it, I had a virus and thought that was it. Then I started listening to music. It crashed. I used the song that it crashed on again, and 3/10 of the time It crashed, and before anything I did it over about 3 days. It seems, when a certain noise is played it decides to crash. I am not 100% sure this is it.

Here is the song I tried it with: http://youtu.be/iW8BzlAum6g it is usually about 50 seconds in when it crashes

the only way your really going to find out is if you replace the motherboard, and that may not fix it and we don't know that yet.

Use your case headphone jack and try doing what you normally do, if after many attempts no crash, it may well be the soundcard. This said, an external sound card would be better, as the headphone jack still relies off the motherboard audio.
