Hey guys,

I recently purchased the Razer Kraken headset, version with 7.1 surround (simulated) and a USB connection. I use them on my PC completely fine for Skype and gaming etc, however I am wondering if there is a way I can use them with my phone (iphone 5) etc.

I have purchased a USB -> 3.5mm rca headphone jack adapter, but am not convinced the signals will carry over correctly for it to work? It was $6 on amazon, so I'm not breaking the bank if it turns out not to be the easy fix I thought it to be.

Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with this, or knew of solutions. Thanks guys.

(ps, no hate for being an apple or razer user.. While I am quite fond of Razer gear, I am far from an apple fanboy. Will be getting android next phone contract lol).

I could be wrong but wouldn't the lack of power mean it won't work ?

That's one thing I'm curious as well due to the LEDS on he phones, however I am hoping they might just be disabled because of the power output difference. Sigh, $6 on amazon to see though.

Any other solutions? It isn't a huge deal to me, I just enjoy being able to use headsets with my phone as well for certain, hands free, calls.

even the headphones themselves need power, i'd say it's a waste to even try.
