I have around $200 to spend. I have and intel core duo E8400 and 8gb of ram. I could overclock both if necessary. I have an nvidia geforce 9600 GT graphics card. My power supply is 600w I think. I want to be able to play BF4 at the best frames I can. Should I get an r9 270x or should I go for a Kaveri Apu and a cheap motherboard? I could play 720p or 1080p. I just want my best bang for the buck upgrade.

I am worried about the bottleneck. Do you know what the frame difference would be between the two setups?

The way I see it is, i have $200 and have no money coming my way for awhile. If I get the r9 270x or r9 280 I will be able to play games at decent frames. Then when I get another around $200 then I can get a decent ish mobo and an FX- 6300
