I am trying to install a new wireless adapter on a machine running Lubuntu 13. I had a Belking 54G usb adapter that was working fine with Lubuntu freshy installed. However the adapter seems to have died. I have a spare N150 usb adapter from some generic make, but I cannot get it to run on Lubuntu without installing new drivers. I found the "linux driver" but it is not like windows where you can just double click and it installs. Can someone either help me with a step by step that even a noob could follow or else a point me to a premade simple to install driver? The main issue is that without the wifi adapter the computer running linux cannot download new packages (like ndiswrapper - not installed since the old adapter worked without having to install anything) and the computer I able to connect to the internet with is running Windows (not sure but I doubt I can use make on here).

Lubuntu 13, AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 2gb RAM
