I recommend you pursue something closer to the above. A z87 mobo will overclock better and if you want this is an sli ready board for down the road if you choose to upgrade your chip (cpu). I also upgraded the ram to dual channel 2x4GB net 8GB which is a little better for only $10 more. Both the gpu and memory will be cheaper on black friday. Most likely the gpu will have a more significant price change as ram prices do not fluctate as much as gpu prices in general.

If you can afford it I'd push your budget further still towards this:

This way you won't have to upgrade your psu either for sli.

The only things you could do better with the last build are to have more ram and an ssd but otherwise you'd have a great performance valued gaming rig. Just my 2cents. Sorry if it pushes things way out of your initial price range. As you started you aren't bad but these are areas you may be able to improve on if you think ahead a little bit.
