I think all motherboards support pushpins AND screws.
They basically use the same hole width.
Would you still like a push pin cooler, or an actual screw mounted one.

The motherboards carry standard mounting patterns, the difference between screws and pins is actually the backplate installed. For example, the stock intel cooler used pins, and so the stock backplate accepts pins. The 212 EVO comes with its own backplate and brackets.
