Does the new graphics card have power connectors on it? Did you plug those in?

Fix 1 :The message relates to the card not being found in the Pci-e card slot of the board.
This will happen if you need to plug directly from the psu of your tower at least a 6 pin power plug.
The power socket on the card it`s self is often on the back edge of the card or the top leading edge when looking at the card fitted to the slot. If you do this then it may work.

Fix 2: Remove the new card from the slot with the tower turned off.
Connect your monitor lead to the back of the mobo if that is what you were using first.
Power the system up and you get video.

Now enter the bios, and look for two sections in the menus or sub menus.
The first should be an initialization order of graphics device, and the setting should be Pci-e, set to this.
Next look for anything that says turn off Integrated graphics.
Don`t worry if the option does not exist, some boards just need you to set the interface mode to Pci-e.

Save the settings you have made before exiting the bios.
Power the computer off.
And place the new card in the Pci-e slot of the board, making sure you have connected the six pin power feed from your psu to the edge of the graphics card.

Change the monitor video lead to the Pci-e based card video outputs, and power the system on.
If the card is a Gigabyte wind force it requires a 6 pin 12v to be connected to the graphics card from the Psu.
