Hey guys,

So here is my issue, after i attempted to remove some crapware, from my pc first using MBAM and then using a adware removing program after MBAM couldnt find it. I realized it deleted a few registry entrys under ASUS on top of the adware I forgot to untick it to not delete it as i rushed, my bad, either way, it required me to do a restart, i accidentally clicked OK which started to shutdown my PC

I rushed to cmd to shutdown -a as i realized i didnt want to lose and files i was working on i was too late, anyway after it restarted, I got this message. don't really know what to do, checked my sata cables to see if anything might have got unplugged and check if my boot order was correct. anything i should do?

I'm thinking of doing a flat out fresh install of windows at this point but i remembered i have no Install disk as the previous owner who gave me the PC forgot to give it to me and he is gone,

Solution
Yeah it should have a tool to repair or rebuild the MBR and the boot.
Make sure before you do it the interface mode in the bios is set the the right mode before you do the fix.
Existing mode as it was before the malware remover messed it up.
OOps its wiped out your boot config then, and your MBR.

You can do this if you have windows 7.
And have a boot able windows xp disk.

Run the xp install and when you get to the install windows bit press R.
You want to run a command prompt.

Where you should type: fixmbr. Then : fixboot.

Or you can try changing in the bios the Sata interface mode from Sata to AHCI mode see if it helps.

But to honest you probs need to fix the boot or MBR of the drive.
