i was creating a build on pcpartpicker and i have a "MSI 970A-G46 ATX AM3+"
and the case is a "Corsair 650D ATX mid-tower" but the compatibility notes say:
"Corsair 650D ATX Mid Tower Case has front panel USB 3.0 ports, but the MSI 970A-G46 ATX AM3+ Motherboard does not have onboard USB 3.0 headers." what exactly does this mean?
Thanks in advance.

it means that your case has usb 3.0, but your motherboard does not, because you connect the motehrboard's usb 3.0 to the case's usb 3.0 slot to make it work, but you don't have usb 3.0 on your motherboard

just change your motherboard to a Gigabyte 970A D3P, it's far better and has a USB 3 Header.

One thing to keep in mind with the 650D is that the front usb ports had no header but were merely just male ends of the usb cable itself..you had to run the cables to the back of the board..essentially making it more trouble than it was worth.

this is what I'm referring to. I'm not sure if they ever updated the front usb cabling to resolve this weird setup but if not..that's one thing you'll have to deal with. I had the 650D and hated it because of that and ended up selling it.
