yes, because bf3 and bf4 multiplayer are very cpu intensive, even on i5's the cpu usage is 90-95%, so it's normal for your processor to have difficulty

Okay , motherboard MSI z87 g45 any good , I've got a asus r9 270x oc at 1190 and memory clock at 1460 should I get a gtx 770

well 770 is like r9 280/280x level so no, not really worth just gong up one tier really, if you have a z87 board, you will need a bios update to work with the i5 4690k, or you can get the i5 4670k , which is similar in performance and you won't have to do a bios update
