I will be getting a used core 2 quad Q9550 today. With advice from a thread i created earlier, i downloaded two stress testing programs, intel burn test and prime 95.
Which settings should i run the programs on. Please explain in detail?
I have
4 GB(2 x 2 GB) ddr3 ram.
windows 7 ultimate 32 bit(will upgrade to 64 bit)
radeon hd 6670(will upgrade to gtx 750 ti)
One more question
How should i apply thermal paste to the Q9550?
I will be getting the cpu in a couple of hours, please help?
