I have a pc from Acer, it comes with a E5700, it comes with the g43/g45. Which is ancient. It's worse then the 8800GT. Now i was wondering what graphics card i can get for this machine. I have a 300W PSU from FSP and it has 13 amps on the 12v2 rail and it can output 240W max on those rails. What graphics card could you recommend me for under 100 dollars that'll do 720p medium and does not a external power connector?

Hmm i think you should be fine. It may be the other way around, maybe your power supply uses second rail to power processor and the graphic card. So like i said hd 7750 should be best if you can find it. With it you are using 10 amperes of your second rail that leaves 3 amperes on the safe side. And if you cannot find the hd 7750 buy the R7 250 2GB DDR3. Don't buy DDR5 since your board can't fully utilize ddr5 so stick with ddr3. Here is the card link:

Gigabyte: (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125498). I prefer this card, i have this card and it's 120 mm fan really cool down the graphic card and allow low temp.

MSI: (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127763) This is the second best...

Buddy i got more of a ancient rig than you. But i need to know that wattage on 12v1 not on 2 cause that is the rail that handle graphic card and processor. For a good hundred dollars you can get R7 250 that requires most low amperes (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127764). It can most probably run on your power supply but first i need you to tell the amps on the 12v1 cause 12v2 got only 13 amps and by my calculation there aren't gonna be much on 12v1. I also suggest HD 7750 but i can't find it on the newegg but if you can find it new than go for the hd 7750 otherwise R7 250 will be more than enough and compatible with that motherboard.

And by the way with R7 250 you are using 11 amperes of the second so that is why i am suggesting if you can get hd 7750 it would be great else R7 250 is the second best card you get with that system.

Yeah i am using the same card and it is a great card i ran battlefield 4 on 30 fps with my current system (core 2 duo), ran watch dogs, assassins creed 4 on low settings, watch dogs on 25 fps on ultra low settings. I was referring to that card hd 7750 because it uses less power and provide umm 5% better performance than the R7 250. But r7 250 is worth it's price so if you find it cheaper yeah go for it and let me know how it goes for you.
