I was wondering if it was at all possible to boot Windows 7 from my SSD alone. I would also be putting all programs, files, and games on the same SSD. I pretty sure you can do this but everyone who says anything about SSD's always has a HDD as back up. I don't really want a HDD at all. Thanks for your help in advance!

Yep! It'll work just fine. You'll need at least a 500GB SSD if you want to have ample space, though.
Best of luck :)

I would agree if you plan to make the SSD your main drive dont get less than 500GB. The bigger question is what't your budget like?

I was originally going to get a 128Gb but decided that was to small so I was going to go with a 256gb ssd, as of now I only use 40gb of my hdd on my current build, that's including about 9 games. That gives me over 200gb just for games in the future, I also cannot afford a 500gb, there really $$$$$$. Thanks for the quick feed back!

If it's going to be the only drive, nothing smaller than a 256.

I agree try to go witht the 256GB if you can. I personally like the 256GB Plextor M5P Xtreme. It has a 5 year warranty!

Yes. 500Gb+ is the way to go. You will need to pay attention to the IOPS numbers.

Enjoy your new drive! You can always buy another later on when/if you start to run out of space. :)
