I am trying to find a reputable place that sells actual 2.0 cables. I have seena lot of places claim they sell 2.0 or say they are 2.0 but refuse to put that on the product . They cant legally put something on a product box if its not true so they use words like " High Speed HDMI" but never ver 2.0. I have a 4K tv with 2 HDMI 2.0 ports but I cant find out where I can buy HDMI 2.0 cables that are actually 2.0

From a bit more digging around, I think you can use nearly any high quality HDMI cable and be able to support 4k requirements. However, get what you are comfortable with.

Good luck!

Current HDMI cables already support 2.0 standard. The specification clearly details that no new connectors or cables are needed - only actual hardware support needed for a Display and Video Card.

Therefore there are no 2.0 HDMI cables, since standard HDMI cable already supports 2.0 anyway.

Also, all the video cards in existence now do not support HDMI 2.0, so it's a moot point anyway. Maybe GTX880 will finally support it.

SO then how are people able to get 4k gaming at 60 fps? I am trying to achive 3k gaming per say threw HDMI on my tv. I now my hdmi cable is version 1.4 and it cant handle 60hz at that high a resolution. I was thinking of getting a Display port to HDMI 2.0 converter to handle it?

I have an Asus Maximus VI Hero, with 8gb of ram (GSKILL Sniper DDR31600) 850 Power Supply, Intel I-5 4760K boosted up to 4.3 stable with a Notica Air cooler. And a EVGA Geforce GTX 780 Ti superclocked 3GB. All that hookes up to a 50 inch Panasonic P50ST60 threw HDMI.
