Why is my fps low on everything?

My laptop can play alot of games like League of Legends and World of Warcraft smoothly but recently my laptop overheated and when I played the games my fps is always on 5 even if I put it on the lowest graphics. I tried scanning viruses but nothing came up. I don't know whats wrong with it but I need it fixed soon!

I have a windows 8 Acer laptop
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3110M CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz
64-bit operating system, 64-bit processor
400gb RAM

Can anyone help me please?

It's not ideal but a vacuum might work.

Mwanwhile grab a program like HWMonitor and record the temps while idle, and when you start up a game. Make sure it's on a flat surface when you do this
