So my card(sapph5770) is PCI-E 1.1 and im about to exchange it for a card(vtx6770) that has the exact same specs in gpu-z but PCI-E is 2.0.
So if i change it for that one will i get improved, same, or lower performance on my MoBo with PCI-E1.0 slot?

5770 and 6770 are basically the same card since the 6770 was just a rename of the 5770. Should be no performance penalty.

You will most likely get the same performance, as for the reasons rolli59 said above.

Also, all PCI-Express versions are reverse compatible, so you won't have any compatibility issues either.
