Ok i think i have finalised the parts for my gaming pc and i just want to know what sort of performance i will get from these games (all maxed out): BF4 and Watch Dogs

Here are the specs
8gb 1600Mhz RAM
Intel core I5 4460 quad core 3.2Ghz (Haswell refresh)
AMD 3GB XFX Radeon R9 280 (Non x)

Also is it worth getting the i5 and r9-280, or a i3-4150 (haswell refresh 3.5Ghz) with a r9-280x

Many Thanks

Your build is really good but you might want to see what your psu (Power Supply Unit) is... remember that r9 280 are really good for AMD and what is your mobo? Your rig is a killer so dont worry.. no performance loss will be seen.. so with 3gb gpu you are going to play any games at 1080p high-ultra.. remember to choose best answer please.. welcome to the master race...

Are you sure i shouldn't go with the i3-4150 and the r9 280x, because the 280x is on par with GTX 770, whereas the r9 280 is on par with a GTX 760, and the i3 seems to be quite powerfull 3.5Ghz Dual Core with 4 threads. i know its not as powerful as the I5 but will i get a bottlenck or anything with the i3?

Yeah i3 will bottleneck r9 280x. And 4 core is better than 4 threads

you wont have any bottleneck issue with the i3 but it is a dual core.. will have poor performance on future titles.. since games are being optimized to use more cores so i suggested an i5.. you could try to get the i5 along with the 280x

Dude please... tell us... whats the max money you can spend and what parts you have already? In my opinion you could go with a good gtx 760 non-reference of course... and with an i5 4670k or i5 4690k if you want to OC nor your pc mobo lets you... it will be really important if you could tell me what motherboard you have (motherboard=mobo) ok?
