i use precision x to oc my graphic card

gpu - gtx 650 1gb

well i accidently uninstalled precision x and could not find a download link so i decided to use msi afterburner.

in precision x if i went passed the limit of mhz i could add on the gpu driver would crash and reset to safe to let me know that is the limit of mhz i can add, my total amount of mhz i can add is 220mhz any more then it would crash and reset but in msi afterburner it didn't crash it let me add more than 220 mhz without warning and i noticed low fps and reset the oc now i experience lower fps than i did before like in bf3 lowest settings 1080p 60fps but now i get drops down to 40fps and back to 60fps constant drops annoy me so was it i damaged my gpu and need a replace ment?

i do not have any viruses or malware i make sure of that

my cpu does not throttle
my cpu - i5 4440

so in other games that run source engine run 60fps still :D
but in games i did get high fps now get fps drops

i even did a clean install of my o.s and that hints it hardware related so it must be i damaged my gpu.

please any suggestions will be of help!
thank you.

Msi manipulates the clock speed by the direct programming the clock speeds.
Its routed through the CCC driver.

So you need to uninstall the CCC driver.
Msi afterburner
Restart the system and re install the CCC driver.
