Nothing showing up on my TV, help please?

Just bought a new desktop, and i wanted to turn it on, so i connected my HDMI cable to my Desktop and my tv, and turned my desktop on, nothing showed up, tried to set it up from my tv, still, and there is no other screen to help me :| help please, thanks! :)

Yeah everything seems fine, but my desktop doesnt seem to work on my tv, have no idea why :(.

i only have 1 HDMI port on my TV.

Thanks you very much fir trying to help, i solved the problem, i was connecting the HDMI cable to the wrong HDMI port in my desktop, so instead of connecting it to my graphics card, i connected to it another thing, way above it, solved, thanks again :D.
