So I've just started up my new build PC (i5 4690K with stock cooler) and i accidentally didn't notice that the stock cooler was stuck. I was in the bios and suddenly saw the temperature getting close to 90° Celcius. I shut down the system immedeatly. Did that kill my CPU?

No, pretty sure you didn't, they are good at taking care of themselves these days, I'm sure it's fine.

no the cpu will not be damaged like that if it reaches 105 c then it will automatically send a danger signal to the motherboard and the pc will shutdown automatically for preventing further damage ...
