Hi,

I currently own an HP Pavilion 500-141ea, which comes with an AMD A8-6500 APU, and HD8450 to run in Dual Garphics. However, I found that I wanted an increased boost in gaming performance, so after doing some research, I purchased an Asus HD6670 1GB GDDR5, which is suppost to perform will with the AMD A8-6500 (it is the highest graphics card that APU will do dual graphics with). Once installing it (merely taking out the old graphics card and inserting the new one), I am not able to access the BIOS to configure dual graphics as my computer makes 6 beeps and flashes, and then goes straight to the Windows 8 login screen. HP are unhelpful because changing the graphics card voided my warranty. What is the solution to setting up dual graphics? I am happy to answer any more questions you may have.

Many Thanks,

Did you uninstall the driver 1st? You will need to remove the driver before you swap in the other card.
