Well when I searched your model number, the HP Pavilion G6-1296sa came up. Let me know if this isn't your laptop. But anyways, I'm pretty sure this driver is universal between all G6 Pavilion versions.

This is the Keyboard, Touchpad, Mouse Input Driver for Windows 7 x64:

Download and install that and let me know if that works.

Well the scroll issue is that your CTRL key is sticky. When you normally press control and use your mouse wheel, it does the zoom in/out. Press your Control keys and see if that fixes it. If not, give me your computer specs and I'll look more into this issue via Driver Side.
