Onboard Red LED light

Hi. I have a 4790k, on an Asus Z97-AR and GTX 770. And everytime I boot up the system, a red LED light comes on above the GPU, forcing me to reset and it works perfectly fine. Anyone know what the cause of this is?

Those lights are for verification of a solid power connection. Make sure any power connectors going to the GPU are firmly seated and that all pins are straight and there is no foreign objects in any of those sockets. Just a small piece of dust could likely trigger a light. If all is good make sure the card is completely seated and locked in. Maybe pull the card and reseat it to be sure. If your case has an integrated hold down at the back make sure your using a screw to retain the plate despite the hold down.
