Hello,

I recently bought a EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked 2.0 GPU and got a EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 220-G2-0750-XR 750W ATX12V. Now the GPU comes with a 6 pin pci e power adapter and a 8 pin pci e power adapter. There is no slots for a pci connector on the power supply. I was wondering if anyone knows a great PSU that will be more than great enough to power my GPU.

Thank you!

Yes you do. You know these cables you got with your power supply. One end should have a 6+2 pin PCIE power connector and the other end is for plugging it into the psu, in the VGA slot. The 6+2 pin PCIE cable is your power cable to the GTX 770.

6+2 pin PCIE connector looks like this:

I'm not sure what cable you talking about. There should be some white letters on the connectors. What does that say?
Or take a picture and put it here.

Use the VGA labelled cables for the GTX 770. One end has a 6 pin and two extra pins hangin off. It can be combined to be an 8 pin PCIE power cable. That goes into the gpu. The other end goes to the power supply into one of the VGA labelled slot.

Yes I do have a cable that is labeled VGA on both ends like the one you described. 6+2 pin that i plugged into the GPU, and the 8 pin that connects to the psu? This should work? Idk how it is a pci cable when it is labeled vga on both ends? why not label it pci??

My power is always off when i am working on the inside of my computer. I have connected a 6 + 2 pin connector to my GPU then routed the 8 pin side to the VGA connector of the PSU. Took another 6 + 2 pin but only plugged in the 6 pin part to my GPU and then routed the 8 pin to the VGA connector of the PSU. I even switch the spot I put the GPU in. Still no power. =(
