FSX settings for IGFX core i7 OC

Hi there!

I'm looking for the best settings for Microsoft Flight Simulator X to run with integrated graphics (HD 4600).

My specs:
- Intel Core i7 4770k@4.1GHz liquid cooled by a Seidon 240m
- Crucial Ballistix 16GB Sport kit
- Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD
- Corsair Force 128GB SSD
- Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD@7200RPM
- GA-Z87-DS3H mobo
- CX750M PSU

I need to avoid the staircase effect on airplanes and achieve smooth lines - is this possible with this setup without a dedicated GPU?

No, you are talking about Anti-Aliasing which is VERY VERY Graphics intensive. You will not be able to get the effect you are after without a good GPU.

That's just too bad. I got a perfect aircraft with my Radeon R9 280x but there's something wrong with either it, its drivers or my PCIe slot so I can't use it without having it failing on me

Yeah, when stressing, watching videos or sometimes actually just browsing and listening to music. (after a little while of doing it, can be everything from 0 min to an hour, usually pretty soon - like 10 mins or less). See my other question about it here:
