Msi backplate installation?

I am thinking of buying a msi r9 but I am not a fan of the stock backplate. I would want to replace it with the ek-fc r9-290x backplate. Would this void the warrenty? Thx

I don't think so, never hard anything like that. I have seen people install white backplates on GeForce cards and they never mentioned warranty collisions.
