game lag acer

I just purchased a used Acer Aspire 7551-7422 running windows 7. I started to play Candy Crush (don't judge!:) and the candys lag as they fall down. My old computer had less 'juice' than this, but never did that. Help! Thanks :)

I just downloaded GC about an hour before I started playing, although when I logged off and then came back ti said it hadn't shut down properly. My other computer did that all the time, but no lag. I literally just opened this today (ebay purchase) and I wnat to make sure everything is working right.
