Hello, I was wondering if I would be able to overclock my 1333MHz RAM to 1600MHz. I have 16GB of Kingston HyperX. I've never overclocked before, so would someone be able to tell me what to change and what to change it to?

Thank you.

Make sure the voltage is set at 1.5, and just set the RAM to run at 1600Mhz in your BIOS.
Download memtest86 and install it to a USB flash drive, boot from it and run at least 8 passes. If it passes without errors, you're good to go! If not, you probably won't be able to run the kit at over 1333Mhz, or the timings aren't set right.
Let me know how you go! :)

One last question. In the BIOS it says the memory is running at 1600MHz. BUt when I look at CPU-Z, it still says it's running at 1333MHz. I'm supposed to multiply the DRAM frequency (666.5) x command rate (1T), correct? But because it's DDR3 do I change the 1T to 2T or 3T?

I have the F10 BIOS and the only newest non beta BIOS is the F11. There is a F12I and F12W but they are beta BIOS it says. I did restart the PC because I'm overclocking the CPU too and in the BIOS the memory speed was still 1600MHz.

After checking the BIOS again, it says the memory multiplier is 13.33. I don't have an option to change that. Next to it it says the memory frequency is 1600MHz. And after each restart the memory frequency does stay at 1600Mhz.
