GPU R9 270 vs R9 270x

Those two have 30 USD differences.
BUT!!! is the R9 270X WORTH IT???
My build is about 800 to 1000, and I will play games and do works. However, I won't do any video editing or anything like that.

In short, Is the R9 270X worth 30 dollars more then R9 270?

Core clocks are a little higher on the 270X, and it has an improved cooler.

But the cooler on the 270 is fine, and you can just overclock the 270. So I would say the extra $30 isn't really worth it.

On average there is about 5% performance difference between the two. If any the 270X has more overclocking potential because of having more power available but if the plan is to run them at stock the $30 price difference is more than 5%.

So, this is my first build. I'm not sure I will overclock it or not, because I do not really want to take too much risk...
Should I just buy 270 if I don't OC my GPU?

Also, Asus gpu is a little bit more expensive (about 10-20 dollars), should I consider other brands?

Should I buy the Sapphire brand or Asus?

I would get the Sapphire which is the biggest producer of AMD cards. And yes if you do not overclock go with the 270.

The sapphire is better, they're the go to manufacturer for aftermarket amd cards as they have great coolers like the tri x and vapour x that keeps the cards' temps under control
