Hello! I was wondering if someone could help me understanding the inner workings of memory and make the right choice!

In my country there are few options of performance memory available at a reasonable price point, and being so I believe the best I could possibly get would be either the 2x4gb RipjawsX 2133mhz at 11-11-11-30 or 10-12-12-31 timings or 2x4gb RipjawsZ 2400mhz at 10-12-12-30.

The thing is, I find these timings to be really confusing. I read somewhere that to measure how fast the memory can start transfering data I need to divide the CL by half the data rate, so it would be something like:

11 / 1066 = 10.31ns
10 / 1066 = 9.38ns
10 / 1200 = 8.33ns

Are these correct? If they are my doubt is: how much these results should affect gaming performance? Is it worth the extra bucks for the faster memory?

Thanks in advance and sorry if my english isn't very clear!
