I have finally worked out my build plan and keeping to my target of around £1000! I would like to know what you think and if you know, what games I can run and at what fps!

I'm so pumped for this build!
i7 4790k
GTX 780 (MSI/EVGA)
GIGABYTE GA-Z97X GAMING GT
8 GB RAM
850 Watt PSU
1TB HDD 7200RPM
250GB SSD
WIN 8.1
Corsair H100i
NZXT H440 SILENT CASE

Here's how the costs come out: (With OS & Without Also With Cooler & Without etc.)

PC Cost: £893 (MSI 780)
PC Cost: £919 (EVGA 780)
Total: £960 (W/ OS, No Cooler & MSI 780)
Total: £986 (W/ OS, No Cooler & EVGA 780)
Total: £1040 (W/ OS, W/ Cooler & MSI 780)
Total: £1066 (W/ OS, W/ Cooler & EVGA 780)

If anyone can tell me or guess what fps I'll get on BF4 with this build that would be great! Hoping for 80-100+ fps

*Note

Gonna be upgrading the RAM to 16GB and also adding another GTX 780, after the upgrade can anyone tell me the same info?

I would agree there and I would expect to see some pretty high frame rates at 1080p with BF4, especially which such a beastly processor. I do agree, go with dual channel RAM and what power supply are you going to use for the build?

An 850 watt powercool AUBA PSU I also agree looking over at the specs dual channel is the way to go, thanks guys!

Never heard of that brand. Try to stick with a tier one or two PSU from this list:

The last thing you want is for your PSU to fail and take out the system.

It got 80+ bronze efficiency so I thought maybe this is trustworthy, there was a lot of good reviews on the product and hardly any were bad

Having bronze efficiency doesn't mean it's trustworthy. It could use cheap parts which won't last under load, or it might just fail after a period of time. It also might not output the wattage listed. I wouldn't trust reviews for parts on any sites, because most people post a review after owning it for a day or two.

Ok thanks dude! I'll probably change and go with the corsair xfx pro 850w psu as this was second in line anyways, thanks again! You may have just saved my build!

780 will not get 80-100 fps, you'll get 60-70, 80-100 is mostly 780 ti territory, why a i7? Do you stream or render? if not, a i5 will do, save the money from that and get a 780 ti, saving even more money, get a noctua dh 14, just as good as h100i and half the price, use that money to get a mid tier 780 ti

Yes I'm a YouTuber and I video edit and photo edit so I expect to have a good rig to render videos and powerful enough to make sfx too. I plan on getting a customised 780 (3rd market one like zotac etc.) and then overclocking it. I've seen a lot of videos saying that a stock 780 and an i7 4790k will get 70-90 fps I plan on playing on high to reach 100 fps. I hope this clears some things up! :D
